Our Purpose
A Mother's Pledge is a group made up of moms who have either lost a child or
children to AIDS, or who have a child or children currently living with HIV
disease.
As a group we focus on three initiatives:

SPEAKERS - Addressing corporations, workplace fundraising campaigns, schools,
and churches as HIV educators with a personal perspective.

FUNDRAISING - Each year on Mother's Day we have our yearly fundraising project
and we lend our help throughout the year with our projects for AIDS Fund such
as their yearly Walk.

EXERCISING our VOICE - Individually and independently, on any political
platforms concerning HIV/AIDS.
"A Mother's Pledge" wants to bring the message home that AIDS is a family
disease and affects all of us regardless or race, religion, age, orientation,
or income. We are "proud" to be in partnership with AIDS Fund.
Together we are raising awareness and funds to help put an end to this
epidemic.

The Pledge
I, ___________ as the mother of _______________, feel the urgency to combat
AIDS head-on. As a mother I will pursue this project with a vengeance, because
I am fighting for every mother's son or daughter, for this generation and
future generations.
Let's show the world that when MOTHERS put their energies together there is
nothing they can't accomplish for the LOVE of our CHILDREN.
